I traveled with my wife and 13-year old daughter. The location is about 3 blocks from the train station. Initially I wasn't sure about the neighborhood, but after walking around I realized its occupied by many of the working class in the area. After the initial morning we spent there, I felt safe. The shower is tiny (3'X3')...all and all not a terrible room.

The street view looked dubious but the hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful. The door from the street opened directly on a steep stairway that had to be climbed to even reach the desk. If you have a problem with stairs this is NOT the place for you!! We went out in the morning and returned after dinner to avoid climbing them more than once a day. The room room itself was very small.

The location of the hotel is very central and next to the Train station. The room size is adequate except the bathroom needs some work. It has high ceiling and air conditioning which is nice.

The room was clean and a decent size for Europe. The location was also okay. The toilet tank dripped on us in the bathroom, and ran all night. One of the staff persons gave unwanted sexual attention.

Moldy room, scary location at night! Lovely looking and great staff, though.

Hotel within walking distance of the train station. The neighborhood was very poor and did not feel that safe (no problems occurred though) Also, it was also within walking distance of all the major sites of Florence. The hotel itself was actually very nice. Room was big (for Europe Standards) and was clean. Helpful staff that was always willing to help. Not a very good breakfast as there were little choices. Hotel had a long stairwell that went to lobby - be prepared to get help carrying lugguage or carrying yourself.
