We were in this hotel (Marina Hotel) for 11 nights. We award this hotel one star due to its location. It’s located in a depressed area. The street was dirty and littered with trash. There were 3 abandoned and stripped cars within 100 feet of the entrance of the hotel. The street in front of the hotel was a major bus stop with constant bus traffic and noise. My wife was very uncomfortable walking down the street after dark. The street lighting was poor. She also noticed that there were hardly any women on the street during the day. The hotel room was typical European. Maid service could have been better. Water glasses in the bathroom were never changed in 11 days. My wife would wash them in hot water to clean them. The continental breakfast was "sad". By far the worst breakfast in 7 trips. The area was too small and they were always running out of "food". The food was hard boiled eggs, one kind of cheese and cold cut, bulk served corn flakes and jelly, two kinds of bread and away from the serving area was water and some kind of unripened orange. Definitely not the kind of breakfast that was typical on previous European trips.
