Description You will be taken to Piazza Venezia, where you will see
the imposing memorial to Victor Emanuel II, the first King of United Italy. The tour will then proceed to the Roman Forum, the old centre of the Imperial City, where the Senate House, the basilicas and the temples of the major gods are located. After walking down the Via Sacra and passing by the Arch of Titus, you will visit the Coliseum,
surrounded by impressive monuments such as the ruins of the Arch of Constantine the Great. The last stop on your tour will be the 5th-century Christian Basilica of St. Peter in Chains, where you will see the world famous Statue of Moses by Michelangelo.

Sightseeing Details: This tour is provided on a pre-reserved basis. Tours are confirmed upon receipt of payment and are non-refundable and non-changeable.
Meeting point: Hotel pick-ups are arranged at the time of tour confirmation; these take place between 2:15 pm and 2:45 pm.
Ending point: Return to hotels or nearest central drop-off point.
Year round: Departs Vastours terminal daily at 3:00 pm.
Blackout dates: Tour closed Dec 25th and January 1; no tour March 16, 2008 due to the Rome Marathon.

Note: From November 1 to March 15, due to the earlier winter closing time of the Roman Forum, the visit and commentary of it will operate from the hilltop of the Capitol, in addition to the breath-taking view of the archeological area, without missing the amazing walk alongside the imperial forums of Nerva, Augustus, Trajan and Caesar.
