  • Panoramic tour of London’s West End - Our day begins with a drive past many of London’s famous monuments - the Houses of Parliament with Big Ben, Downing Street, the official London residence of the British Prime Minister, Trafalgar Square with the statue of Lord Nelson, Pall Mall and much more.

    Westminster Abbey - We will make a photo stop at this magnificent Gothic building that has been the site of every coronation since 1066.

    Household Cavalry Museum - Exclusive Feature – we see behind the scenes of the Household Cavalry and meet an actual trooper from the Household Guards – You will be able to ask any questions!

    Buckingham Palace and Changing of the Guard - We arrive at Buckingham Palace, to witness the Queen’s Foot Guard in their red tunics and bearskins marching to the accompaniment of a military band– a colourful spectacle. (Or we will visit Horseguards Parade when this ceremony is not available).

    Walking tour of Covent Garden - Time permitting, we enjoy a short walking tour of vibrant Covent Garden a wonderful Italian style piazza lined with shops, street entertainers and restaurants in the heart of London’ theatre district.

    City of London - Driving through the financial center we will learn about the Great Fire of 1666 and the Blitz of 1940-41, we see the Bank of England and the home of the Lord Mayor – The Mansion House.

    St Paul’s Cathedral - Exclusive Feature - We arrive at Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece, St. Paul’s Cathedral which is one of London’s greatest buildings with its Dome standing proud on the skyline. The present building, completed in 1708, replaced the medieval Cathedral destroyed in the Great Fire of London. The guided tour of the interior includes the newly cleaned Cathedral and Crypt as well as an exclusive access, available to Golden Tours clients only, to the Quire to see the beautiful mosaics. This is not normally open to general public.

    The Tower of London & Crown Jewels - During its 1000-year history this impressive fortress has been a royal palace, prison, mint and zoo. It has seen three Queens of England beheaded, and the torture of numerous prisoners, stretched on the rack and crushed in the Scavenger’s Daughter. We will also see the famous Crown Jewels including the dazzling Cullinan diamonds and the exquisite Koh-i-Noor, ,as well as the Bloody Tower, Traitors’ Gate, the Royal Chapel and the White Tower, built by King William the Conqueror in 1078.

    Cruise on the River Thames - We end in spectacular style with a wonderful river cruise enjoying superb views of Tower Bridge, London Bridge, the London Eye, and Houses of Parliament, Shakespeare’s Globe theatre, the Tate Modern and much more.

    This tour will ¬finish around 6pm.

  • Sightseeing Details: This tour is provided on an Open Voucher basis. Passengers must contact the local sightseeing companies upon arrival in London to arrange the tour.
  • Meeting point: Departs daily from Golden Tours office, 123-151 Buckingham Palace Road; passengers should check in at least 15 minutes prior to start. Courtesy hotel pick-ups may be arranged by calling the tour company.
  • Ending point: You will be dropped back at convenient stops, depending on traffic conditions. Kensington, Marble Arch and Victoria are usually included in drop-offs.
  • Year round: Daily at 8:30 am. The tour finishes at approximately 6:00 pm.
  • Blackout dates: Tour closed Dec 24, 25, 26 and 01 Jan
  • Entrance fees: All entrances included. Lunch is not included in this tour.
  • Child discount: Applies for children ages 3-16; under 3 are free.
