What a wonderful trip! Copenhagen is a charming city made for walking. The accommodations (Hotel D'Angleterre) were extraordinary and the generous buffet breakfast included made lunch unnecessary. The suggested city-harbor tour was a great way to get to know the city. We added 2 more days to our trip and still would like to return.

This trip was awesome. We upgraded our hotel to the Palace Hotel, and then upgraded to a premium room for just a few dollars more. We were located on the city square, steps from the Stroget. This is a great trip--take it!!!!!

Wonderful city, The Mermaid, was certainly the right accomodation for us. We loved the RadHus bells, and the convenient location so near the Square and Tivoli (only one of the "must sees" at any season). Breakfasts were memorable and the Mermaid Staff was courteous and kind. Rooms were spotless in a beautiful, walkable city. Go again - we'd go tomorrow if we could, and surely with go-today.com's help. Thank you for your timely suggestions and arrangements. They made our trip.

Copenhagen is a wondeful city to visit. The people are fun, vibrant and really friendly. Just stay away from the Mermaid hotel. The hotel staff was more than helpful but the room was the size of a box and the shower was the entire bathroom. Had I known in advance I would have bought flip flops.

Go-today.com met every expection I had. Palace Hotel staff very helpful, great location, nice rooms. Saw alternate hotel (Mermaid) you offer which looked lovely in the same area. Everything went smoothly at check in at the hotel and at SAS. Will definately book with you again and I'm telling everyone I know about your service. Looking forward to many future travels with you. Stockholm seems affordable to me now! I like the fact you use scheduled airlines, not charters, and 4 and 5 star hotels that are centrally located.

Excellent package overall! We stayed at the Mermaid Hotel (apparently the Komfort has been renamed). The rooms were tiny but the staff was extraordinarily attentive. They were very helpful in terms of recommending restaurants and attractions. One potential annoyance: The hotel is located 2 blocks from Radhus (Town Hall) which has a bell tower that chimes every 15 minutes from morning until midnight.
The hotel is in a great location - around 10 minute's walk to the Stroget (a 1-mile long pedestrian mall), 10 minutes to the Central Station, less than 15 minutes to several museums and palaces. Lots of shopping and food nearby.
We took the train to Malmo, Sweden one evening. There's not a whole lot to do in Malmo on a Sunday evening in February, but there is a really nice little suqare called Lille Torg a short walk from the Central Station which has ice skating in the center and is surrounded by restaurants and cafes. The train is really cool - fast and quiet, runs every 20 minutes until sometime around midnight and costs around $15 round trip.
SAS has to be the best airline I've flown on - the service was impeccable. Between the service we got at the hotel, in the air and in taxis and tourist attractions in Copenhagen, it appears that the Danes are way ahead of us in terms of customer service.
The staff at go-today.com was also very helpful in coordinating flight times with us when booking the tickets. Overall, a very pleasant weekend trip.

This was delightful! The Mermaid Komfort Hotel was extremely helpful, and Hans (the tour guide) was super! The weather was a little dreary (what did we expect in Feb!), but the Danes were warm and friendly. :) Thanks for making this work so smoothly, go-today!

This trip was fantastic! We wanted to keep cost low so we opted for the lowest fare hotel, the Komfort (Mermaid) Hotel. We took the train from the airport to the central train station, then walked to the hotel. The walk is about 10 minutes & takes you right past Tivoli Gardens. The bathroom was interesting! There was a toilet, sink, & shower head. No tub or shower stall, only a drain on the floor & a shower curtain to pull around the shower stall. We were shocked at first, but it was a fun & different experience! Taking a shower was not even difficult. The continental breakfast was superb. The main shopping street Stroget is also about 5 minutes away from the hotel. The hotel was in a great location. We would stay there again! SAS Airlines was fantastic! We went to Sweden one day by train. The ride is only about 30 minutes. Have Swedish money prior to going for ease. Just an overall positive experience!

We had a wonderful trip. The Mermaid Hotel is right in the center of Copenhagen, near Tivoli gardens. We easily found our way around on the local trains and buses. We took the train north from Central train station to Helsinger and visited the Hamlet Castle, Elsinor. Then we walked down the hill and took the ferry to Helsingborg, Sweden for lunch. It's about a 20 minute ferry ride. The train ride north from Copenhagen is about 1 hour. We found some great little pub/restaurants nearby the hotel and ate well and inexpensively. And, oh the buffet breakfasts included in the tour.....the food is wonderful and bountiful. The hotel rooms were fine...odd showers, but fine. And SAS was a great flight. Would we book again through go-today.com??? Betcha!! Marion Hodgman, Staten Island, NY

Hi go-today.com, First I like to say that the SAS flight from Newark Airport to Copenhagen was the best airline flight that my wife and I ever experience! It was no fluke, the return flight was just as great. Service was excellence, the airline staff were the best. We change our money before we arrived in Denmark. This was a mistake. The exchange rate at the Copenhagen Airport was better then in the USA and the service fee is only DKK 25 (About $3.00) The Tog (Train) ride to Copenhagen Central Station is only DKK 18, took less the 20 minutes. Your train ticket will also allow you to ride the bus from the train station for up to 1 hour after purchase of the ticket. We stayed at the Copenhagen Star. This hotel is located 1 block from the train station and after you get pass the beggars on the street, it's not a bad place to stay, if you do not mind the security lights shinning into bedroom window through the skimpy curtains. The staff at the Star were helpful and there were a variety of sex shops, nude and gay bars within 100 yards of the Star. The highlight of this was hearing the drunks scream all night long. Visiting Copenhagen was a breeze, after getting pass the beggars and walking 6 blocks the Town Square area. All the activities are in this area of the City and the Komfort Hotel is only 1/2 block from the Square, and which by the way COSTS LESS! PS: We checked out this hotel, boy what a great place it would have been! May have change our whole enjoyment of the trip! I mentioned this to go-today.com staff that the Komfort read better then the Star and was assured both were the same. NOT THE SAME! The Star is a dump on the wrong side of town! Shame, the Komfort is cheaper and better. Guess some flokes just want to make money. Reason: In go-today.com's other Web Site, the Komfort costs a whole lot more then the Star. Hummm, is there a story here? The Komfort is just around the corner from the Palace Hotel, which is right on the square, and both are in the heart of the tourist area, which is the good section of town. The Star and also the Crown Hotel are literary on the wrong side of the tracks. The 1/2 tour was great, plan to take the trip on Sunday, because all the shops are closed. Only things open on Sunday's in Copenhagen are museums, restaurants, bars, movies and Tivoli Gardens. With the new bridge to Sweden, it only takes 35 minutes on the Oresundstog and costs DKK 120 round trip to Malmo, the 3rd largest city in Sweden and a very nice place to visit. No one checked are passports in Denmark or Sweden. At the Malmo C. Station you can exchange you Denmark Money for Sweden Money at no service fee and at the current rate. The Swedes will take your Denmark Money 1 for 1, but the exchange rate is 1 to 1.16, so you lose is you do not change over. All in all the trip was nice, except for the Star Hotel, at check out, staff did not ever ask if we enjoyed our trip to Copenhagen and never said good-bye. Would I visit Copenhagen again, "NO!" Will I re-book with go-today.com? I'll have to think about that one!

Copenhagen is an absolute must see! It is such a beautiful city. The people are incredibly friendly and helpful! The airline personnel were fantastic and it is literally a 14 minute train ride from the airport to downtown. Our hotel (Copenhagen Star) is 1 block away from both the Train Station and Tivoli Gardens. Definitely check out the Copenhagen card. It is absolutely the best deal there. For approx. $28 for 48 hours it will cover all public transportation (subway, trains and buses) and most tourist attractions. We were able to see 13 museum, 11 historical sites, the 3 palaces and a canal ride in 3 days. Everything is within easy walking distance. Our room was wonderful and very "scandanivan." The breakfasts were a true delight and the half day tour was excellent! This was our 2nd Go-today trip (we've now taken 7 to date). Thanks Go-today for making this possible.

This was a great package. The price is fantastic, especially since it includes the hotel. We stayed at the Mermaid. It was centrally located and lovely, not the newest or the most luxurious, but perfect for a three night stay. The complimentary buffet breakfast was enough to launch the day without thinking of food until dinner.
