Fantastic Getaway! Stockholm is one of the easiest cities in Europe to get around. The public transportation is excellent My go-today.com Hotel was a perfect location. The T-ban (subway) entrance was literally outside the front door There was a grocery store right in the building and the rooms were very nice with beautiful woodwork. Great breakfasts! Everyone in Stockholm seems to speak english. One of the best values is to buy a 48 or 72 hour Stockholm card You can get them at the Central station. The card allows you to go into all the museums, palaces, etc. as well as all the busses, T-ban and some ferries for no charge. Many of the major museums are all very close to each other, including Skansan and the Wassa and all we had to do the entire trip was show our card. We saw 2 palaces, 14 museums and 2 churches during the weekend. Also note there is a fantastic Impressionist exhibit at the National Museum on through the end of the year. Suprisingly even the Ballet and Opera were reasonably priced though I wouldn't recommend an opera in swedish unless you already know the story line. People are extremely friendly and very helpful. There are no big shopping bargains as everything is expensive. However, make sure you get your tax receipts for reimbursement. Note that they will seal the package and you cannot use the items until you are at the airport but even this was very hassle free. Great time, great city. Thanks Go-Today!

We've been to Sweden in the summer, this was our first winter trip. Sheraton in Stockholm was perfect. Excellent accommodations and location. Very friendly staff, couldn't be more helpful. Free Breakfast offered plenty of choices for everyone, no danger of walking away hungry. Only thing I would like changed would be an option of adding an extra day or two. There's so much to see and do in such a short period of time.

Loved Stockholm, Hotel Oden, public transportation system, people, food, weather (32 degrees, no wind). Three of us went...the other two had never been to Sweden. They thought three days in Stockholm just enough time...it was too short for me as I'd been there before and wanted to do more. I'm going back next year for as long as possible.
Forgot to add...SAS best airline I've ever been on...wide seats, excellent food. Flight attendants blond, beauti- ful and bilingual, naturally.
