The Antica Dimora Hotel hotel in Trevi was empty, we were 1 of 2 couples there, yet we were given a room that faced directly upon the ongoing construction site, when we asked to change the room they acted like they were doing us a big favor, gave us a smaller room on the other side we were barely able to keep the construction noise out with earplugs that went on until Saturday..we were then told upon our first dinner that the appertif was no longer included, but were given a glass of sparkling wine just to be nice and just for the first night. Then on the 3rd day of cooking class, we were advised 15 minutes before it was to commence that it was a holiday (Easter), and the contract said they are not going to provide class during holidays. so we were left on Easter Sunday just hanging out, all offices were closed. and we tried to get to Florence earlier. In Florence we got the worst room possible, the walls had holes in them, it was like a room ready to be demolished. After booking this trip so far in advance, to be told that the itinerary was not going to be upheld, we felt like we had planned for and paid all this $$ ($1500 each) and we were merely apologised to at the end and given only $50 each for the missed cooking class and appertifs. GO-Today did not plan accordingly and gave us lip service in the end when they did not deliver the trip we bought.
