Go-today arranged good connections, neither too little nor too much time between flights. Good service on direct Dulles-Vienna flights. Weather in late April was OK for walking in Vienna; only one day with rain

When we arrived at the Philadelphia Airport we realized that our flight was not with United but with Lufthansa. It would have been helpful to know that before we actually got to the Airport. We loved our hotel (Harmonie). The desk personnel were marvelous. The breakfast rated a 5+, absolutely extravagant. We have recommended GoToday to many of our friends. Keep up the good work (This was our 3rd trip with you and we have been pleased every time) Thanks Harriet Haines

I have to divide this into two parts: transportation and our stay in the city itself. First the city -- go to Vienna. You will adore it. There is tons to do, the people are friendly and helpful, the food is marvelous, the hotel we stayed at (K&K Palais) superb, and everything is delightfully efficient and beautiful. You could stay much longer and still not see everything. I highly recommend it. That said, this was my 5th Go-Today trip and the worst as far as flights were concerned. The problem was Charles DeGaulle Airport, which is probably the worst single airport I've ever been to in my life. It was chaotic, disorganized, the rules seemed to be made for breaking (by them -- not us) and in addition to losing our luggage, they also required us to go through immigration even though we were only changing planes, miss one flight and almost miss a second one. It was horrible. The people were generally rude and unhelpful. Go-Today booked us with only 50 minutes between flights on the trip to Vienna, and we missed our flight. We had two hours on the way back and almost missed our connection (literally had to run) because CGD required every passenger to pull their luggage, take it to the airline counter and have it rechecked. Since their baggage handling limits are different than those of everyone else in the free world, everyone had to repack their stuff so French baggage handlers would load it into the next flight. Do not book this trip through Charles DeGaulle unless you have at least three hours between planes and a lot of patience with goofy, because-we-said-so rules. Otherwise, the trip was a joy and a delight.

This was my third trip with go-today.com and as usual, everything was top-notch. Vienna and Salzburg were awesome in March--cool but not cold making it really nice for sightseeing. Hotel accomocations in both cities were comfortable and very close to public transportation making it easy to see the city sights:in Vienna-- Schrobrunn, Belvedere, cathedrals, and museums (especially the Treasury!), not to mention the history and Baroque architecture; in Salzburg, the Dom, St. Peters cathedral and cemetery, the Fortress and Mozart's house. Thank you go-today for an awesome trip!

Our trip to Vienna in early November was outstanding! We especially enjoyed our stay at the K & K Maria Theresia hotel and the wonderful breakfast buffet each morning. The city itself is rich in history and culture. The Vienna Woods, Schonbrunn, the Stephansdom, Belvedere, and the Prater are definite must-sees when you visit. Vienna is an excellent value at any time of year!

We just returned from this trip and heartily recommend go-today.com. We were at the Hotel Atlanta, which was spacious, clean, and only a 5-10 minute walk from the metro. The staff there is extremely helpful and accomodating and will arrange pick up from the airport if you email ahead. We had never been to Vienna before: it's bitterly cold right now, but the frequent snow added a romantic dusting on the gabled roofs and meant you never had to wait long at any of the museums, restaraunts, etc. (Favorite cafes: Cafe Central and Diglas; favorite museum: Belvedere; the Heurigens in Grinzing are touristy but still really fun!)We'll definitely use go-today.com again.

Vienna is a delightful town any time of year. We enjoyed lots of Schnitzel and Gluehwein as well as several coffeehouses. Public transportation is easy and gets you anywhere you want to go. It's fun to explore the cobblestone streets of the old city. The breakfast buffet at the K & K Palais Hotel was lovely. The trip in November was a great bargain!

An excellent trip! Yes, Vienna was cold in January, but it was also festive and uncrowded. The Viennese were friendly, the food (and pastries) was hearty, and the architecture was amazing. Everything was even better than I'd imagined. Also, the Hotel Harmonie was quite nice -- with a very helpful staff.

The Bellevue hotel is a better choice than the Harmonie because it is located at a street car stop, making travel around the city quite easy; the Harmonie is several blocks from a stop.
Overall, the vacation was quite enjoyable and I would do it again.
