Overnight Amsterdam.
Day 2: Amsterdam - Loosdrecht

Day 3: Loosdrecht - Lekkerkerk
This morning's ride will take you through the central region of Holland. The first major site you pass will be De Haar Castle, a private residence of the Rothschild family. The castle is open to the public and is well worth a visit. Continue to the villages of Linschoten and Oudewater. Ride along the Vlist River to Schoonhoven. You will ride along the dikes of one of the major rivers of the country en route to your final destination for the night. You will be able to get a good view of how much higher the water lievel of the river is compared to the lower lying countryside next to the dike. Finally, you will arrive in Lekkerkerk. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight, Lekkerkerk.
Day 4: Lekkerkerk - Delft
Today's tour takes you to Kinderdijk. Here you will see a fine collection of 19 Dutch windmills, which were originally used to pump water from this low area into the higher surrounding rivers. You can visit the windmills if you want. Next, ride along the outskirts of Rotterdam, the world’s busiest harbor. If you are interested in visiting the city center you can use the detailed map to get you in and out of the city. The city center itself has a detailed network of bicycle paths, so you won't have problems with the traffic. After Rotterdam you continue on to Delft. Delft is a beautiful small town with a University, so there is always plenty of nightlife! Of course, Delft is where the famous Delft Blue Earthnware is made. You will pass the Porcelyn Fles pottery factory en route to Delft and can visit if you want. Overnight, Delft.
Day 5: Delft - The Hague - Zandvoort
Pedal through the lovely city of the Hague to the seaside resort of Scheveningen. From here the route will take you through the beautiful dune landscape all along the Dutch coast. The dunes have a unique flora and fauna and they form a natural barrier which protects the low lands of Holland from the onslaught of the sea. Overnight, Zandvoort.
Day 6: Zandvoort - Edam
Today's ride will take you to the northern part of the country to the coast of Ijsselmeer. The route will take you through several old fishing villages. Visit a windmill where an exhibition gives you insight into the process of land reclamation. Overnight, Edam.
Day 7: Edam - Amsterdam
You will ride to the town of Volendam and along the coast back into Amsterdam. You will pass famous villages such as Monnickendam, Edam and Marken well-known due to the fact that the public still dresses in their traditional costumes! It is advised to walk through the village of Edam, which has preserved much of the atmosphere of the previous centuries. Beyond Edam, the route takes you inland. Here you will find a type of farmhouse which is typical for this part of Holland. The farms are square, pyramid-like buildings, in which living quarters, cattle stables and storage for hay are combined under one roof. You can also take an optional side trip to picturesque Marken today. Finally, you will arrive into Amsterdam. You will drop your bike at the Citadel Hotel and make your way to your hotel for the night. Overnight, Amsterdam.
