Our hotel in Paris, Mercure Ronceray, was excellent. Metro on same block, excellent breakfast, lots of dining choices. Also, the Roissey bus from Charles de Gaulle airport stops 3 blocks from hotel. Wonderful experience all around.
We liked working with go-today very much. We could choose our seats at booking for the trans-Atlantic flights and that is a must.
Suggestions: Let travelers know terminal from which flights depart.
In London we stayed at Bayswater Inn and it was just OK. Good location however. A very enjoyable trip and will definitely use go today again.

My sister and I took the London and Paris trip to celebrate my recent graduation from Graduate school. It was so much more than I could have asked for!!! We stayed at the K West Hotel and Spa in London. This was a wonderful little hotel! Very modern appeal tucked in a quiet neighborhood of homes. So convenient to the underground station and shopping and eating! Then in Paris we stayed at the Mayfair Hotel. It was a gorgeous classic Parisian hotel also so convenient to everything!!! We didn't even use the underground (but probably should have to save our feet). Just a short walk to the Louvre and Place de la Concorde! It was a shock to be in such a nice hotel as part of our budget trip! The Mayfair was in the same neighborhood with very ritzy hotels and we felt very pampered!
I couldn't have asked for a better trip! Go-today.com was very helpful during the booking of the trip and I had all of the documentation I needed. I highly recommend this trip for anyone who wants to see these two magical cities. This was a trip of a lifetime!

I had an excellent experience with this agency. The flights to and from our destinations could not have gone smoother. The Eurostar ride was just as good. The hotels were nothing more than what we needed with friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was more than enough considering it was a free meal. The only negative experience was that the hotel charged my girlfriend for two calls that never even connected. I recommend this agency to anyone looking to visit Europe.

We had a great vacation. Everything was set up very nice for us. My only compliants would be that we had a lot of trouble finding our hotel from the airport and when we called the phone number for Go Today for assistance, the office was closed. We spent many hours at each airport trying to find our way to our hotel. We would have liked to have the option of taking the train from Paris to London rather than flying because by the time you get to the airport early and have a layover in Frankfurt, it took us 8 hours to get from Paris to London. Besides all the time we spent airports, it was wonderful.

Trip was great. GoToday.com arrangements were as promised. This was our 2nd trip arranged thru them with their very helpful staff. We took train from Gatwick to Victoria Stn. then Tube to Gloucester Rd where our hotel was just around the corner. Arrived 11 a.m. and rooms were ready. Holiday Inn Kensington Forum on Cromwell Rd was very nice, breakfast was good and all hotel staff very helpful. Only negative comment is that it took so much time from our sightseeing just getting to and from and thru Heathrow and CDG when going from London to Paris. Taking the Eurostar would have been much easier. We took an Air France bus from CDG to Montparnasse Stn then a cab to hotel. (It was raining too much to walk.) Le Royal Hotel Montparnasse was VERY nice as was the buffet breakfast. Location was terrific. Hotel staff excellent with the exception of one night clerk who was somewhat pushy trying to sell us tickets to Disneyland etc. We loved this small hotel and location on Raspail near Montparnesse Blvd. We took the 1st morning train to CDG to catch our flight home. Will definitely book with GoToday.com again.

We started our trip in London at the Mayfair hotel. The location was great, just off Piccadilly road, a short walk to Buckingham Palace. The room was good and clean with plenty of room for 3. Nice bathroom! After 3 days, we caught the train to Paris. Easy trip with Go-today reservations. The Frontenac Hotel was super. The rooms were quite accomodating with a separate WC in the bath and 1/2. One block off the Champs Elysse! The Paris pass may not have been the best investment for a 3 day stay, but the subway system is one of the best that I have traveled on.
The only problem that we had was on our excursion to Versailles. A storm was approaching, which never arrived. They closed the park including the Palace. Fortunately, we had completed our tour inside the Palace before it was closed. Paris-what else can you say. Go-today makes the arrangements and you just sit back and pack your bags. Great arrangements and accomodations! I recommend this trip to all who want to experience Europe at its best. Go now before the pound and the Euro get out of reach.

We choose the 6 day London and Paris package through go-today.com. This was a fabulous vacation and we would recommend it to everyone. The staff at go-today, especially Claudia and Sharon explained everything in detail and made us feel comfortable with booking on a website that we had never heard of before. The cost savings were significant and the hotels (Flemings Mayfair and Mayfair Paris) were beyond what we had expected. The rooms were spacious and close to all the major sightseeing spots. Having close access to the undergrounds in both cities was invaluable. Having a buffet breakfast every morning included in the cost of the package was a big asset. We flew British Air but would upgrade to Business class if we go overseas again. Transfers from both airports to the hotels was a snap. Take the Underground from Heathrow and the Roissey bus from CDG. Thank you go-today.com for a fabulous vacation that our family will remember fondly forever.

Very impressed with the overall package, value and the service provided by go-today.com. Booked six+ months prior to departure due to concern over valuation of dollar and only one change to flights and advised three months in advance. Go-today was always responsive and professional and forwarded my request for atrium room to Landmark London, which is truly a outstanding hotel, as well as Francois 1er in Paris (see separate reviews). My thanks and compliments - could not have been more pleased.

I was a little affraid of my bookings. But everything went so smooth and nice. The hotel in London The Thistle Bloomsbury Park was great. The people very very nice in London, the service great. The english breakfast nice with a lot to choose from. The room was ok, but we spent most of the time sightseeing. Teh hotel was a block away from the LU.
In Paris we had Hotel Cervantes, pretty and clean, near the subway, the street a little bit lonely though. The people in Paris not as warm as in London.
Thanks go-today. I'm recomending you with everybody. Your service was great and the prices were good to my pocket

This was a great trip! I just wish we could have stayed longer. We added an extra night in Paris, but you really need a week in both places. We picked the bargain hotel in each city and they were great. The Apollo in London and the Holiday Inn Express in Paris. Both were clean and accomodating. The Apollo was very centrally located right across from Hyde Park. In Paris, it took us a while to find the hotel-especially in French. This hotel was a little more out of the way, but once we found it, it was just a couple of train rides into the main part of Paris. The air on British Airways was also fabulous but those overnight flights from New York are hard. The Eurostar was great fun from London to Paris and the inexpenive seating there is also very adequate. I was worried about the transfers and everything but it all went well and we will definitely book through this company again.

The hotels were fine. I went with my Mom and tried to go as inexpensively as possible. The booking process was a snap! Very easy. We paid for some extra days in Paris, and that was worth it. The hotel in London was steps from the Picadilly Circus Tube, definitely had seen better days, but you can't beat the location. The hotel in Paris was beautiful with wonderful service, but it was a bit further away. We didn't select airport transfers, and in the case of traveling to Paris, we should have. I love Go-today! My Mom and I are booking their go-today.com Taste of Italy trip for this November!

Let's get the single problem I encountered out of the way first. This problem was no fault of go-today. We were booked into a "triple" at the Strand Palace in London, but the hotel said go-today had not arranged a triple. I had paperwork to prove that was incorrect. The hotel provided only a twin room...with a rollaway bed. After meeting with management on the 2nd day, an appropriate triple was found. The Strand is a decent hotel...in a great location...but they really handle mostly large school groups and other large tours. They don't deal well with individuals.
The trip was everything go-today promised. The Paris hotel was also in a wonderful location (Hotel Mercure Ronceray) and the people there were terrific.
Go-today did a wonderful job with Eurostar arrangements and communicated with us as small changes were made to flight schedules. We'll definitely go-with go-toady again!

Our trip was awesome- The hotels in London and paris were lovely, convenient and comfortable. It was a "bargain" trip worth a million dollars. Took my mom and had a wonderful time.
Hotellink was well worth it to get a transfer from the airport since you land so early, and so jet lagged.
The Forte Posthouse Kensington is now called the Kensington Close. It was fine, but I think we got one of the unrenovated rooms - it wasn't luxury, but did the trick. It is worth adding days to London - there is a lot to do.
You can buy Tube passes right in the stations for several days, no need to buy early.
DO take a minicab (cheaper than regular taxi) to the Eurostar. Traffic is horrible in London during rush hour, and we almost missed the train going by bus. If you take the Tube you have to haul your luggage up and down many steps, so be aware.
The Cervantes Hotel in Paris was wonderful. Smaller than the Kensington Close, but nicer. Staff was very nice, and Paris was wonderful.
DO learn some basic French (hello, goodbye, thank you, I would like....(my hotel)) - you can buy a cheat sheet at Barnes & Noble for about $8 US. You get much further with the French if you give French a shot first, and *then* ask them if the speak English.
Go-today.com was great when making the arragements and responded to my emails quickly.
I would recommend NOT going with the lowest class hotel listed when booking in Europe (we went one class up). Hotels are much smaller there, rooms are smaller, and quality is better if you upgrade a bit.
Overall a wonderful trip! Thanks Go-Today!

The hotel, Bayswater Inn, in London was a dump. This hotel is dirty, does not have non-smokng rooms, beds are cots with thin matresses and thin pillows, and they put us in the basement. The breakfast was bad, thin watered down orange juice and rolls that were what we in America would call hamburger buns.
The combination trip would be better if it included transfers to the Eurostar in London and to your hotel in Paris.
Once we got to Paris the trip was fine. The hotel there was nice and the breakfast was wonderful.
I would never take a budget trip again. I would upgrade to at least midlevel room rates.

Hi,
We just wanted to let you all know how much we enjoyed our London-Paris trip. We had the three nights in London and three nights in Paris Package. We stayed at the Sloane Square Moat House Hotel in London. What a great location and very nice hotel the staff could not have been more friendly. This hotel is located in a very central location with a tube entry just 1 minute away from the front door. Different types of restaurants were located within just minutes from the hotel. We had absolutely no problems in London. Great job in London now on to Paris.
We caught the Eurostar train from London to Paris again right on time with a great staff. When we arrived in Paris, we did need a transfer from the train station to the hotel (this was not included in the package); however, we easily caught a cab from the train station to the hotel for about 10 Euros. We arrived at the Duminy Verdrome Hotel and again were very happy with our accommodations the hotel is located just minutes from the metro station to catch the subway and minutes from many of the great attractions located in Paris. We look forward to traveling with your travel company again in the future.

This was my first vacation in years. We loved it. The Birkston Gardens in London is located a block from a tube station. The continental breakfast was wonderful. The only thing you need to know is that you will spend around $10.00 (us) to get to the Euro rail station from the hotel. If it is early in the morning the tube is full. It is a very easy tube ride if it isn't full as is most mornings. The euro rail ride was very confortable. We walked to the Adia Tulip from the train station. Paris what can I say. I loved it. In fact we enjoyed this trip so much we booked 2 more through go-today.com. We did paris again in march of 2002. The last trip was this one again but i added days to londaon and paris. We stayed one extra in london and 4 days to the paris. This was in june of 2002. I would recommand go-today.com to everybody. In fact we are taking 4 more people with us to london in march of 2003.

Overall, the vacation was good. We had upgraded to "C" grade hotels. The Thistle Gardens Kensington in London was located right on Bayswater - which is in central London within walking distance to a subway station. The hotel was nice - other than the bed. We had a double but it was actually 2 twin size mattresses put together. Therefore, there was a crack down the middle. Definitely not conducive if you are honeymooners :)
Oh, here is where I should mention the airport to hotel transfer provided by Hotelink. Let's just say it took 4 hours just to get to our hotel. We arrived at Gatwick Airport at 8am. We had to wait for a bus for over 2 hours. This seemed to be excessive. We were seriously considering getting a taxi.
London is definitely a great place to visit. There is lots to do. The city and subway is kept very clean when compared to Paris. We will have to go back to see the other stuff. Then on the 4th day, we were on our way to Eurostar to ride the train to Paris.
Here we actually took our luggage and rode the subway to Waterloo (where the Eurostar train station is located). Just one recommendation if you plan on lugging your luggage through the subway - make sure you have only 1 piece per person and that it has wheels. Otherwise you are going to want to get a taxi. This package did not include any type of transfers to/from the Eurostar station.
Once in Paris, again we took our luggage on the subway to our hotel. Our original hotel was not available for the dates we selected so we ended up at Serotel Lutece (a Best Western). The hotel was okay. It was smaller located on the outer skirts of the Latin Quarter. Here the double bed was with just 1 big mattress. We were thankful ;). The bathroom in this hotel is kind of small - it reminded us of one on a cruise ship.
Paris was just as exciting as London. There is plently to do! However, we found Paris to have more crime and to be dirtier than London. My husband had his pocket almost picked on the subway by many females who surrounded him. To say the least he was not to happy with one of them going for his behind :(.
Well, to finish, I should mention that the hotel to airport transfer in Paris was much better than London. The gentleman arrived on time and was very nice. Other than that, I would recommend a vacation package from go-today.com, but I would definitely have upgraded on the hotels even more if I did it all over again.

This package was a very good deal and we enjoyed our trip very much. Go-today.com did everything that was promised, we even received our travel documents early! My only "gripe" was that I didn't check into my hotel selections a little more closely. The hotel that we selected in Paris was on a major street and rather noisy. We had to leave the windows open at night as there was no AC and the noise from traffic awoke us early. Also was a little intimidated by the sight of streetwalkers outside our window looking for business. I see that hotel is no longer a choice on this trip though. I advise some research on hotel choices and upgrade as much as possible. Go-today.com did a super job at a super price and will use them again! Thanx!

We just returned from this trip. It was our second one with Go-Today.com. As before, they did a great job of arranging everything, and the price was the lowest we could find for this type of journey. However, I do have two caveats about this trip. The first is that both London and Paris deserve a full weeks exploration if you are going to either for the first time. Given the travel time involved in this trip, you will only end up with about 2 1/2 days in each place. That is more than sufficient if you have been to both before. However, if you want to see the typical tourist sites (Notre Dame, Louvre, etc.), you might want more to consider one of Go-Today’s individual trips to London or Paris first. That is especially true if you are travelling during the spring or summer, as you will spend considerable time waiting in lines to get into the famous sites. Secondly, one of the things I like best about Go-Today’s trips is that they arrange transportation to and from airports. However, this trip involves travelling by the EuroStar train from Waterloo station in London to Gare Du Nord in Paris, and you need to find your own way to and from both places. Doing so involves the not inconsiderable expense of taxis, or the effort of hauling your own luggage through the respective subways. We did that, and I would not recommend it. However, I would recommend travelling with Go-Today. This was our second trip with them, and there will certainly be many more.

We stayed in the Thistle Lancaster Gate in London- fabulous location. Just across from
Hyde Park, it was lovely waking up every morning and looking out at this beautiful park!
My only complaint about the package is that you arrive so early in the morning and cannot
check into the hotel until 2pm. Next time, I would reserve for the night before my arrival
because we arrived so travel weary. The airline is great- it was the best transatlantic
flight I have made so far. All of the arrangements went off without a hitch, airport/hotel
transfers were a breeze. The Paris hotel (Cervantes on Rue de Berne) was very charming and
in a nice "neighborhoody" location. Just minutes from the Metro and train station. My
very limited french was not a problem, and (contrary to popular belief) the Parisians were all
quite friendly! This is certainly a trip I would take again (as soon as my bank account
recovers from all the shopping!). The booking arrangements were a breeze!
Thanks for a lovely holiday.

My husband and I had an excellent time on this trip. We stayed at the Thistle Kensington in London and had a wonderful stay. A few blocks from the Tube, it was easy to get around London. The hotel was very nice and the restaurant downstairs provided a pleasant breakfast. We stayed at Cervantes in Paris. This hotel was not of the quality of the London hotel. It was located close to the subway, but not near any of the main attractions. I highly recommend staying at a higher class hotel than Cervantes. We extended our stay to 5 nights in each city. This allowed us to see everything we wanted to see in both places. I loved travelling with GoToday and will use GoToday on our next European vacation!

This package was the perfect getaway with enough time in both cities to really get away from it all.
Locations were good, near the underground in both cities - although it's a great idea ot check exactly where first. I would have paid extra to be closer and not spend as much time going back and forth on the metro/tube. The package did not include transportation from the hotel in London to the train station, nor from the train station in Paris to the hotel. It should and is worth the additional expense. This is a great time of year to go because there are no lines and you can really see the sights. I would recommend that you make any theatre reservations in advance as well as if you care to ride the Millenium Wheel in London. Louvre tickets can also be bought in advance to avoid waiting in lines.
Please make sure that your reservations do NOT involve Virgin Atlantic. Although apparently known for their customer service, they left us stranded in London and REFUSED to bring us home to Washington DC - instead they deposited us in New York JFK and told us to find our own way home at our own expense. Between the two of us this added over $400 to our vacation, not to mention additional travel time and OF COURSE they lost our luggage, which still has not been returned. BEWARE of Virgin Atlantic - I understand during travel things go wrong - but it's how you handle them that matter. They RUINED a great occasion for us.
