We had a wonderful time in both Amsterdam and Paris. The hotel accomodations were very nice- though we purchased an upgrade in the Park Hotel Amsterdam as the superior room was quite small. The La Brea in Paris was cozy and accomodating.
We took the time in advance to research hotel reviews and they were very accurate. Interestingly some of the median priced choices had better ratings and amenities that the higher priced options. The Thalys train is a no-brainer from the Central Station AMS to the North Station in Paris.
April is also the IDEAL time to visit both cities and I am looking forward to a return trip.

Air transportation was fine. Both hotels were good, ask for rooms that are in the back of the buildings, street-side is noisy. High speed train was great. The price for the trip was very fair.

What a wonderful experience! After an effortless flight to Amsterdam, we caught the train to Grand Central. A stroke of luck upgraded us to the Crowne Plaza, where we were greeted by helpful staff and a large room (atypical of many European hotels). The location was close to everything, the included breakfast was a surprisingly abundant buffet, and the hotel had a large pool and workout area. And what a vibrant city! Numerous great restaurants, wonderful shopping and more than enough entertainment (check out the Leidseplein). I highly recommend a day-tour to surrounding Delft, Rotterdam and den Haag to experience the entire region. After 3 days, we caught the Thalys high-speed train to Paris (what a treat!). While navigating the Paris train station was trying, this leg of the trip was also enjoyable. The Best Western Hotel de Weha near Place d' Italie was more typical of European hotels...close quarters and thin walls, but clean and warm nonetheless. Our continental breakfast was a satisfying mix of french breads and other favorites. The location of the hotel allowed us to explore areas of Paris we'd never experienced, in addition to the old tourist favorites. Included in the package, the Bateaux Mouche cruise on the Seine is a fantastic way to see the city's highlights--a must for first-time visitors. While the weather wasn't ideal, the City of Lights has plenty of indoor entertainment (think the Louvre), and didn't disappoint. I was also pleasantly surprised at the attitude shift of the Parisians toward tourists. On this, my second visit, they were warm and welcoming, and tolerant as we attempted the language. Overall, this trip is an amazing way to experience two very unique cities in one trip...but be sure to bring lots of warm clothes!

Four of us traveled to Europe on go-today.com's "Amsterdam & Paris Spring Special" for less than $600 each (airfare, train, and hotel included). This Special includes a 3-night stay in each city, with transportation via high-speed train between Amsterdam and Paris.
The price was excellent, but more importantly, Go-Today's customer service was exceptional! We had many questions prior to booking, and also before the trip, and were able to get either "live" customer service online, or prompt e-mail responses to our questions.
We recommend the PARK HOTEL in Amsterdam. It's only blocks away from the top Museums, and within walking distance of just about anything else in the city (close to the tram line if you don't want to walk!) The staff was very courteous and helpful, the Hotel's Bar was cozy and had great lunch or snack food offerings, and the extensive breakfast buffet (included in the package) was the best we've ever seen!
We are so pleased with go-today.com that we have already booked our next trip to Europe in just weeks-- go-today.com's 3-night London special. We'll be checking with go-today.com for all our future travel needs!

Go-today.com is the most awesome travel website, both in value and professionalism. My husband and I went on the Paris / Amsterdam trip for my 30th birthday and years later we are still telling friends about our trip and Go-Today!
Thanks.

The Amsterdam and Paris package was perfect. I can't believe how cheap such a comfortable, smooth trip was. I'll definitely book more trips with you in the future.
