After surviving the 30 Year War and the Black Plague the people of Oberammergau swore to perform the "Play of the Suffering, Death and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ" every ten years. The first performance was held in 1634. 2010 marks the next performance and should not be missed. While enjoying this tour you will not only stay right in the village of Oberammergau and experience the full drama of the Passion Play, but also will travel from the Italian Lakes through the Alps to Zurich, and then into Germany.
